PlayStation says it represents the daytime side of Vice City, with inspiration from white sand, pastel skies and the relaxed atmosphere of the coast. Both controllers carry official Grand Theft Auto VI branding, but I think the two different designs make them feel more special because they represent two sides of the game’s world.
Personally, I think PlayStation made the right decision by creating two different versions instead of releasing only one standard GTA 6 controller. Players who prefer a darker gaming setup may choose the black version, while those who like a cleaner and brighter design may prefer the white one.
GTA 6 Will Take Advantage of DualSense Features
The new controllers are not designed only to look different. They are still DualSense wireless controllers, which means GTA 6 players on PS5 will be able to experience the features associated with Sony’s current-generation controller. My Take on the New Designs
